Backcountry Intro Tours

For those wanting to be guided on their first backcountry ski or snowboard experience, we offer introductory tours. Time will be spent at the trailhead before the tour discussing backcountry travel technique, equipment & clothing, route selection, trip planning and general snow safety protocols. We will customise the day according to your fitness and ability, and we’ll also get some fun runs in! Our focus is on providing you with the foundations of backcountry touring. We will assist you with organisation of equipment for the tour.
Strong intermediate level riding skills and moderate fitness required. (If unsure, contact us to discuss)

Equipment not included.

Splitboard Clinic

FOR THE SPLITBOARDERS! Book one of our splitboard guides for a day tour on the Main Range. A day of touring, riding some fun lines & skill-building. Ideal for those new to splitboarding to get a handle on the best techniques for efficient touring and transitioning.
