If you have done AST1 or similar and you want to brush up on your companion rescue skills, this is a half day refresher with an Avalanche Canada instructor. Come as an individual on one of our course dates or put a group of 4 or more together and we will organise a date to suit you. We will have different avalanche beacon models to play with, or bring your own. Activities will include various burial scenarios, where you will practise coarse and fine searching, probing & shovelling techniques, as well as group management.
